Mapping the 3,500+ events organized during ‘Rendez-vous aux Jardins’ resulted in impressive engagement metrics.

France’s Ministry of Culture’s annual ‘Rendez-vous aux Jardins’ is a traditional kick-off to a series of summer ‘mega-events’ that help drive people across France to events hosted in gardens across the country.

Working in close collaboration with Wemap, the Ministry of Culture was able to generate significant engagement relative to the events through the implementation of a user-friendly smart map.

Sponsor integration and curation.

In addition, the easy-to-use ‘Nos Selections’ button enables users to quickly view events as currated by trusted brands associated with the event. With over 3,500 events, providing a quick way for users to access highly a highly qualified and relevant selection is imperative.

Finally, the well-designed presentation of useful information such as directions, links to a website, phone number and cost to say nothing of the placement of attractive images make each event point an engaging piece-of-content.

Ingesting the large event-related dataset and producing a user-experience that anticipates the user’s needs — date, type of event, location, selections, etc. — delivers engaging interface that produces results.

This demonstrates the utility and effectiveness of presenting geo-located information via a smart map as a means to effectively delivering information to one’s online audience.

No matter where or when your events take place, presenting them via a smart map enables any event organizer or promoter to tailor the experience to maximize user engagement with the content.

Further integration with direct booking services, calls-to-action and third-party affiliate integrations deliver desired services to your users as well; generating goodwill and increased revenues.
